YU Chen Jun

Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Equities

Mr. YU Chen Jun is a senior member of the Value Partners Research and Portfolio Management Team. Started his career in 2008, Chen Jun possess extensive investment experience in on-shore China equtiies and the Greater China markets. He has direct management responsibility of the firm’s equity portfolios, including the Chinese Mainland Focus Fund and the mainland China-related mandates.

Mr. YU Joined Value Partners in August 2010 as a Senior Analyst and was promoted to the roles of Assistant Fund Manager, Fund Manager, Senior Fund Manager and Investment Director in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2021, respectively. In September 2023, he was promoted to Deputy Chief investment Officer.

Prior to joining Value Partners, he worked at UBS Securities Co. Ltd. and Guotai Junan Securities Co. Ltd.

Mr. YU graduated from Fudan University in China with a Master’s degree in Finance and from Xiamen University in China with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
