Value Partners Group wins two accolades in The Asset Triple A Awards 2016

(Hong Kong, 7 June 2016) — Value Partners is pleased to announce that its Senior Fund Manager Gordon Ip is named “Fund Manager of the Year – Long Only Fixed Income” in the widely recognized “The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing, Investor and Fund Management Awards 2016”, for its management of Value Partners Greater China High Yield Income Fund.  The fund benefited from investors searching for yield with its assets under management more than doubled during 2015, reaching US$2.2 billion in assets. It delivered a 6.1% return during the year, outperforming its peers by more than 4%.  In addition, Value Partners is crowned “Asset Management Company of the Year – Highly Commended, Hong Kong”, a recognition of the firm’s asset management service and investment capability over the past year.

With close to 20 years of history, The Asset Triple A Awards are Asia’s preeminent recognition for fund managers that have excelled in the industry.  Winners are chosen by The Asset’s Board of Editors who collectively have several decades’ worth of evaluating industry awards in Asia.

Including this latest award, the Group has garnered over 15 titles in 2016 alone, extending its list of accolades to over 120 awards since its establishment in 1993.
